25th September, 2018, Milton Keynes, UK: IPCortex, the British communications software developer, today announces its new Partner Programme designed to make it easier and more profitable to sell IPCortex - be it hosted, virtual or hardware – than any other solution in the UK.
The IPCortex Partner Programme offers four tiers – certified, associate, premier and enterprise – through which partners can progress.
The programme is designed to deliver:
- Incremental margin to IPCortex’s most loyal and productive channel partners
- Enhanced accreditation for partners able and willing to deliver the full capabilities of IPCortex’s latest platforms
- Access to an enhanced range of configuration options designed to provide better market coverage across all segments
- More structured and effective sales and marketing support to help drive growth in the partner’s sales funnel.

IPCortex is also introducing IPCortex Voice Essentials, a new hosted offering to enable existing partners to address the needs of customers who are new to hosted telephony but not yet ready to commit to more ambitious feature sets. IPCortex Voice Essentials responds to the current market conditions that show, for hosted, there is still a significant market demand for handset based, ‘voice only’ capability.
Based on exactly the same interface as IPCortex Hosted Suite, but in a voice only configuration, VoiceEssentials can be delivered at a significantly lower price point per seat. Yet, it offers a one-click migration path for the whole company to the full IPCortex unified communications functionality as soon as they are ready. This removes the pain for resellers of configuring, pricing and installing a new hosted platform and needing to layer expensive add-ons and third party extras. This also means that it is simple for partners to quote and then upsell value-added hosted services for more margin when the timing is right without additional complexity.
Rob Pickering continues; “We have listened to our resellers who have told us that the hosted market is not yet as developed as traditional CPE installs. Despite the traction that hosted services have achieved, many customers are still at the start of that journey and there is a significant proportion of simple “voice only” projects in this segment. Our resellers have told us that they would like to start customers on their journey to UC in the future by using IPCortex. They have also told us that they’d like our help to provide an offer that more ideally fits this requirement - IPCortex Voice Essentials fulfils this need.”
